Insider Scoop: Wale’s Mixtape Originally Included 3 Tracks of Soothing Whale Calls

2 Aug

In other news: This is the fucking creepiest water slide we’ve ever seen…

Some sources in the record industry let us in on the inside scoop this afternoon that Wale’s pre-release version of his mixtape entitled “More About Nothing” (which comes out tomorrow) originally included three tracks of straight-up whale noises.

Apparently, these tracks were cut by his producers in the final editing stage most likely to limit any confusion that new Wale fans might have — that he’s actually a baby beluga whale, and not the human being that we currently believe him to be.  Our own market research studies here at WTR have demonstrated time after time that a “Whale Rapper” would be a hit, but apparently the “experts” aren’t listening out there.

P.S. Wale’s mix-tape actually does come out tomorrow and a sneak preview made its way out onto the web.  Check it out here on Wale’s twitter stream and let us know what you think in the comments…
