New Video: Lupe Fiasco’s “The Show Goes On”

26 Dec

It’s a little ironic that the single off of Lupe’s much-delayed album Lasers is entitled “The Show Goes On” because trust me, this show hasn’t been going on for a long fucking time.  After months and months of delays, rumors, and general bullshit having something to do with Atlantic Records, the album is expected to drop in March 2011.  Here’s the brand new music video for “The Show Goes On.”  It’s a cool video — but unfortunately nothing too special for such a good song.

If you’ve been waiting for this album (like we have), this should come as good news.  As always, comments are welcome.

Kinda disappointed in the vid. Songs good, but this is just your typical rapper performing music video. Little creativty needed, no? Kanye West’s “Monster” video will be absolutely nuts. People are talking about that album being the best of 2010. If Lupe wants to be seen in that category, shouldn’t he be pulling out all the stops like Kanye is?

This video is dope, not at all a ‘typical rapper video’. You need some fine looking bitches, cars and money to be typical.
