Update: Flavor Flav’s Fried Chicken Opens Monday; Flav Has Culinary Degree

24 Jan

We reported a few days ago that Flavor Flav was opening up a new fried chicken franchise.  Now we’ve got some details:

Via the Huffington Post:

Rapper and reality TV star Flavor Flav is bringing the flavor of chicken to Iowa.

Flav’s Fried Chicken opens Monday in Clinton, Iowa. Flav has been there preparing for the launch and told the Clinton Herald he’ll visit often for promotions and even work the fryer.

He has a culinary degree and restaurant experience.”

1. He’s bringing the flavor of chicken to Iowa? It’s not already there? Is HuffPost claiming that there isn’t any chicken in Iowa? I’ve never been to Iowa, but I am willing to put good money on the fact that they have chicken there.

2. He has a culinary degree? Chef Flav huh?

3. Looks like it’s time for a road trip to Iowa.  Who’s coming?

4. I really hope Flav launches a new reality show called “Flavor of Chicken” in which he makes a different chicken recipe each week and then picks which one he wants to marry at the end of the show.
