Meek Mill (ft. Drake) — Amen (Live in Detroit)

31 May

I spend most of my year out in Michigan so this one definitely caught my eye.  Meek Mill as been with  Drake on tour in North America for the last few weeks and they stopped by D-Town last night and killed it on “Amen”.  Check out the live video below.

If you haven’t downloaded Meek’ new tape Dreamchasers 2, get on it now.

Dave Patten — “Just For Me”

21 Feb

We spoke to Dave Patten a few months ago and we still think he’s the man.

He’s back with a new video (he produces all of them himself) and we’re digging it.  This one is called “Just for Me.”

I still like his tracks with Meek Mill the best — they were truly crossover gold, but this one is worth a listen as well.  He’s got a new album dropping next week called “Gone” and will be doing a release party at UPenn.  If you’re a Quaker, keep it on your radar.

P.S. Don’t worry about the YouTube thumbail…the video is definitely safe for work!

Meek Mill — Dream Chasers Never Sleep (Vlog 2)

13 Feb

Meek Mill absolutely kills this freestyle.  I had to post it so that all ya’ll can check this out.  Enjoy.  Huge shootout to Meek Mill.  One of the hardest working guys in the game.

Behind the Scenes: “Ima Boss” (Maybach Music)

22 Aug

Maybach Music and friends were out in Philly making the video for Meek Mill’s “Ima Boss” track and decided to document it with a little behind the scenes joint.  Check this thang out.

And the award for the best comment on the video goes to:

Meek Mill ft. Rick Ross – “Tupac Back” Video

16 Jun

In honor of Tupac’s would-be 40th birthday, check the new video for “Tupac Back” coming from the Maybach Music crew.  If you haven’t heard it this one’s a banger, and there’s just somehting about a shirtless Rick Ross that gets my blood flowing.

Watch the video here.

Who is Dave Patten?

24 Apr

“Melt” is a little bit too sugary for my tastes, but it’s got a good feel to it.  The girl in the video is fire.

Here’s another track from Dave, but this one is actually pretty sick.  It’s actually a collab between Meek Mill (from Maybach Music Group) and Patten.  Mill spits pretty hard and the video is kinda cool.
